CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – LOWER MAINLAND

Dave’s construction career began in his late teens, operating earth-moving equipment on major high-rise sites. He progressed to assistant site superintendent and later headed client services, guiding homeowners through the handover of their completed homes.

That experience gives Dave a well-rounded understanding of construction—from the earliest site work to the finishing details and client care that shape a successful handover. He combines practical knowledge with an empathetic approach, keeping both project priorities and client expectations in focus.

Patient and collaborative, Dave brings trades, designers/architects, and clients together to work through challenges and keep projects moving smoothly.

Outside of work, Dave is a dedicated father and husband who stays involved in his children’s sports. A passionate Whitecaps supporter, he can also be found cheering from the stands at nearly every home game.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – WEST KOOTENAYS

Leading the Condoworks team in the West Kootenays is Matt, a Red Seal carpenter whose outgoing personality and infectious enthusiasm bring people together. His experience spans new builds, major building retrofits, and additions, combining practical construction knowledge with a talent for coordinating trades, resources, and schedules.

Methodical in his problem-solving and collaborative in his leadership, Matt approaches every challenge with a “succeed together” mindset. He keeps clients involved throughout their projects, building trust through open communication and a personal commitment to getting the details right.

His connection to the West Kootenays extends beyond the jobsite. Through his work, Matt has built strong community ties, with client relationships often growing into lasting friendships.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys exploring bike trails and camping, making the West Kootenays the perfect place to pursue his interests and call home.

SITE SUPERINTENDENT – LOWER MAINLAND

John leads Condoworks’ residential and multiplex projects on site, bringing a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to craftsmanship. With an extensive construction background and a skilled eye for detailed carpentry, he takes pride in the care and precision behind his work.

A Certified Passive House Tradesperson, John brings valuable knowledge of high-performance home construction to his role. He understands how thoughtful execution of construction details contributes to the quality, comfort, and performance of a finished home.

John is a trusted lead on projects requiring in-depth technical knowledge and clear communication. Working closely with architects, designers, and trades, he coordinates site activities and guides the team through construction challenges.

Outside of work, John enjoys the West Coast’s mountains and ocean, travelling, great food, and a good glass of red wine.

SITE LEAD – WEST KOOTENAYS

The latest addition to the West Kootenays team, Michael brings a plethora of skills in both construction and people management to the team.

Originally from Australia, Michael spent a decade as a welder, then migrated to Canada and began building homes in Whistler, BC, before moving to the West Kootenays.

When not swinging a hammer or directing a sub-trade on the build details, Michael is ensuring that project parameters are being met and Condoworks’ Core Values applied.

As a new proud father, Michael adores his young family, and that shine can be seen in his smile and personality. In addition, he’s into motorbikes and lovey family dogs.

SITE LABOUR – LOWER MAINLAND

Jagdeep (Jag) is an essential team member at Condoworks, as he ensures that project deliveries and material logistics arrive to site in a timely manner and within the expected requirements.

His dedication to the Core Values of keeping project sites tidy and organized is second to none, with an attention to detail in ensuring everyone has a safe place to work and clear workspaces for all to use.

Jag has ambitions to select a trade of choice to upstart career in construction, as from his current viewpoint, he witnesses every scope of work several times, giving him visibility into the direction he’s like to take.

In his free-time, Jag can be found exploring the beauty of the Lower Mainland landscape and taking in all the leisure activities available to him.

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Farah brings decades of accounting and business finance experience to Condoworks, keeping project expenditures, invoicing, and financial records accurate and up to date.

Her background with major construction firms gives her a strong understanding of project accounting and the importance of clear, transparent financial reporting.

With a careful eye for detail, Farah maintains bookkeeping records and updates project budgets, helping the team track costs and make informed decisions throughout construction.

She also oversees administration and office management, keeping daily operations organized and ensuring essential details receive the attention they deserve. Her steady, dependable approach provides valuable support to the entire Condoworks team.

Outside of work, Farah cherishes time with her family and children, bringing the same care and dedication to her home life.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Julius keeps Condoworks’ day-to-day operations connected, working closely with employees, vendors, and consultants to help the team perform at its best. His hands-on leadership brings coordination and accountability to the people and processes behind each project.

With a strong background in operations management, sales, and marketing, Julius has experience growing teams across various construction sectors. He supports employees in their roles and keeps client service grounded in Condoworks’ Core Values.

Committed to Condoworks’ long-term growth, Julius focuses on strengthening the team and building the systems needed to expand while maintaining the personal attention and care clients expect.

Outside of work, Julius is a devoted father and husband who treasures time with his family and takes an active role in his children’s activities.

FOUNDER

Babak brings more than two decades of construction experience and a drive to build better to his leadership of Condoworks and Forte Projects. Beginning in building envelope remediation, he developed an eye for detail and an understanding of how early construction decisions shape lasting quality. His career includes contributing to the delivery of more than 1,100 homes before founding Forte Projects in 2018.

Today, Babak focuses on building relationships, developing the team, and guiding the company’s growth. His approach combines practical construction knowledge with a commitment to innovation, accountability, and a thoughtful client experience.

A lifelong learner, Babak draws inspiration from reading, coaching, and mentorship, encouraging the same growth mindset throughout Forte. His philosophy is simple: keep learning, keep improving, and succeed together.

Family comes first to Babak, and that approach is how he likes to treat everyone he encounters.
